Quality is never an accident; it is always the result of high intention, sincere effort, intelligent direction and skillful execution. Quality is exactly what this artist consistently produces. Bigg Enforcer is an upcoming talent out of the South that is beyond talented. Hailing from Charlotte, North Carolina, Bigg Enforcer has been working hard to accomplish his goals and is ready to showcase his talents to the world. We will soon be graced with a new, refreshing raw talent that’s sure to capture the attention of many.
Born Davion Garvin, this promising talent was raised in a single parent home in North Carolina. While it was just him and his mother, he did have a decent relationship with his father, which is unfortunately rare in the black community. His father was also a drummer in the past, which Bigg Enforcer believes is why he’s so musically inclined. He started to fall in love with music at a young age. At around 7 or 8 years old, he took a liking to rap music and soon became an avid listener. During this time, he didn’t have any dreams of becoming a rapper, he just enjoyed the music. Years passed and as they did, he continued to fall more in love with hip hop. Finally, at the age of 23, he began his transition from being just a listener, to an actual artist, and decided to take it one step further and start writing verses.
Bigg Enforcer always knew that if he ever took a career as a rapper seriously, that he would be good, and now finally he did. He continued writing and perfecting his craft, and finally linked with his friends and together they created theBREADRIN. The group released several offerings, including a mixtape titled “Everything or Nothing Vol. 2” in 2010. Fast forward a few years and he’s now bringing a fresh new sound to the scene. He released his standout single “Stroke Game” in July of 2015 that was well-received.
If it wasn’t for his friends, who were also rappers, he possibly never would’ve taken that step to start writing himself. One day, they made him write a verse, and that’s why we now have Bigg Enforcer. This talented artist is gifted in lyricism, wordplay, and good ole storytelling that’s really been missing in hip hop in the last few years. Thanks to artists like Nas, J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, T.I., and Jadakiss just to name a few who musically influenced Bigg Enforcer, we now have a much needed new addition to hip hop, and it’s refreshing.
